Brief description

Tingha Plateau CCAZ Zone 3 State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2011 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Tingha Plateau CCAZ Zone 3 State Conservation Area is made up of four parcels, the closest being located 6km north of Tingha.

The vegetation of the Tingha Plateau State Conservation Area is described and
mapped (scale 1:25 000). Ten communities and three sub-associations are defined
based on classification (Kulczynski association). These ten communities and three
sub-associations were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform.
