Brief description
The Tin Sheds Gallery is a large contemporary art space located within the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Architecture Design and Planning. The Tin Sheds Gallery welcomes proposals for professional exhibitions across a wide variety of contemporary art and design practices from individuals and groups, as well as proposals for collaborative or community projects and curated exhibitions.
The Tin Sheds Gallery archive contains documents, publications and papers relating to the administration and function of the Tin Sheds Gallery. The archival collection contains documents as early as 1988. Regular, annual collection of administrative documents (e.g. who was employed, what was being taught through the Art Workshops, exhibition schedules and public programmes) and publications (annual reports, exhibition catalogues) began circa 1999.
