Brief description Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third leading cause of cancer mortality in Australia. My laboratory’s work has utilised sophisticated functional genomic approaches to identify new therapeutic targets and biomarkers that are entering clinic testing. In the next five years, we will use biochemical, genetic and genomic tools to understand the importance of these pathways in normal development and cancer and progress preclinical development of targeted agents in clinically relevant cancer models.
