Full description
These research data were amassed over the course of my Master of Science program, in which my co-authors and I documented, described and evaluated a large dinosaur tracksite along the Redwillow River near Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada (named 'Tyrants Aisle' herein). Field documentation of the tracksite was conducted in August 2018, and these data were used for all subsequent studies until the completion of my degree in September 2020. The data archived here consists of: tracksite photographs, digital 3D models, field mapping sheets, manuscript copies for each chapter/paper, track measurements, and various other files involved with the research. These data were used across four distinct thesis chapters, each of which is planned for, or already accepted for publication:1. A review of the Canadian record of dinosaur footprints;
2. Exploring possible ontogenetic trajectories in tyrannosaurids using tracks from the Wapiti Formation (upper Campanian) of Alberta, Canada;
3. Probable deinonychosaur tracks from the Wapiti Formation (upper Campanian) of Alberta, Canada;
4. The Tyrants Aisle dinosaur tracksite: A Late Cretaceous ichnofauna from Unit 4 of the Wapiti Formation (upper Campanian), Alberta, Canada.
