Full description We are urged to eat a healthy, balanced diet. But what does that mean? Balanced with respect to what - and what are the consequences of failing to achieve a balanced diet? The project will study how nutrition impacts upon our responses to infection, immunisation and chronic diseases, and the physiological signals that control these responses. The aim is to provide science-based nutritional information on how individuals and populations can optimize their lives and minimize the impact of diseases
