Full description
The Mopra project M426 was started in 2008 to regularly monitor all bright SiO masers visible from the Mopra radio telescope near the township of Coonabarabran in northwestern New South Wales. A total of 121 SiO masers, thereof 47 LPVs, have been observed between April 2008 and August 2013 in both v=1, J=1-0 (43.122 GHz) and the v=1, J=2-1 (86.2434 GHz) transitions. Each source has been observed between 25 and 50 times during that time span.Lineage: The data has been obtained using the Mopra radio telescope and the UNSW-MOPS digital spectrometer.
