Tyger! at Westsapce. The exhibition was curated by Phip Murray. Tyger Tyger was the first in a series of exhibitions that featured six different artsits working with younger emerging artists. In my case I worked with Kotoe Ishii (who mounted a separate work) The first iteration of Tyger! Tyger! occurred with the launch of West Space's new premises in Bourke street. The opening of the exhibition was attended by a very large number of people. The work created new knowledge in the fusion of the abject body and technology in highly lateral ways in a provocative work that had as it's conceptual basis in ideas of the cybernetic relationship of the human body and the machine. The exhibition was accompanied by texts contributed by Ian Haig and Kelly Fliedner.
