Full description Almost 27000 Australian women are diagnosed with cancers of the breast or reproductive system every year, and many will survive into old age after successful treatment. Survival does not mean women automatically return to good health. They need support to manage the detrimental effects of their cancer experience—support that is scarce in this country. This project tests a cancer recovery program, which aims to ensure women who survive cancer have the same quality of life as their peers.
