Brief description Terahertz sensing of proteins associated with Alzheimer's disease. This project aims to use terahertz radiation to study the proteins associated with Alzheimer's Disease (AD) in order to contribute towards the development of an accurate, non-invasive diagnostic tool. The project will increase our knowledge of the causes of AD, improve its diagnosis, and allow for better treatment to target the symptoms of AD.
