From 1 July 2009, the Dept. of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts ceased to exist. Its various parts were merged with 2 other Departments: the Dept. of Primary Industries and Water, which became the Dept. of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment; and, the Dept. of Economic Development and Tourism, which became the Dept. of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts.User Contributed Tags
