The Roads and Traffic Authority has commissioned Land Systems EBC Pty Ltd as an independent landscape architectural consultant to prepare a visual/landscape study as a workpaper Input to an EIS prepared by the GHD Group of engineers and environmental planners working In association with specialist sub—consultants in ecology and noise management. The following summarises the major findings of the visual/landscape study for the Taree Highway Bypass. In particular, consideration has been taken of the need to coordinate landscape development with ecological management.
