Thank you for the opportunity to provide a submission to the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee to inform the Inquiry into the Victorian Government’s response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This submission has been prepared by members of the Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre (MGFVPC).

The focus of our submission is on detailing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to date on women’s experiences of violence and on practitioner responses to family violence in Victoria. Our recommendations are forward facing and directed towards what action can be undertaken and coordinated by the Victorian
