Sample size: Prawns surveys are conducted at around 200 stations throughout the gulf on each survey occasion. Each trawl shot is generally 30 minutes duration and covers 1.5 - 2 nautical mile. Points on a map will represent sample sites. Funded through industry cost-recovery.
