Brief description Male young offenders are at high risk of undetected oral language impairments. This study will assess language impaired young offenders, and evaluate the efficacy of speech pathology intervention to improve oral language skills. The study will also evaluate whether this intervention can enhance other interventions and rehabilitation, and reduce the chances of reoffending, through the development of prosocial behaviours and characteristics.
