This catch dataset comprises specimen-based occurrence records collected by the Western Australian Museum from the Indian Ocean during a series of marine research voyages. Specimens were obtained aboard the RV Investigator during voyages IN2021_V04 and IN2022_V08 (Biodiversity Assessment of Australia’s Indian Ocean Territories) and IN2022_V09 (Valuing Australia’s New Gascoyne Marine Park), and aboard the RV Falkor during voyage FK200308 (Illuminating Biodiversity of the Ningaloo Canyons) in 2020.
