Full description
This collection comprises extent data for the Australian Ecosystem Models framework archetypes and their ecosystem states for Australia. The data provided are spatial data in the form of GeoTiff raster files and cover archetype ecosystems in the terrestrial realm (Richards et al. 2020). Ecosystem states have been mapped from an overlay of the Habitat condition assessment system (HCAS v3.0, 250m and 100m) ecosystem site condition (ESC) VAST (vegetation assets, states and transitions) mapping and HCAS v3.1(100m) habitat condition (HC) VAST mapping with the pre-1750 archetype map. The result is a spatial output of ecosystem states (up to six states per archetype) mapped annually from 1988 to 2021 at 250m. An additional dataset of archetypes and their ecosystem states is provided at 250m and 100m (derived from both HCAS v3.0 and 3.1) for a single HCAS long-term epoch (1988-2022) and a recent short-term epoch (2020-2022).Lineage: Refer to methods:
