Additional information regarding this dataset may be contained in the voyage plan and voyage summary (as available). The standard Underway (=continuously recorded) dataset from a research voyage includes Navigation (NAV), Sounder, Thermosalinograph (TSG) and Meteorological (MET) data. NAV data includes GPS (Global Positioning System) measurements of latitude, longitude, ship's direction and speed. MET data includes atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, wind speed and direction, and incident radiation intensity. Warning: It has been discovered that the Underway Thermosalinograph data (UWY TSG) collected on voyage SS2/2008 is about 0.05 PSU higher than the CTD surface salinity values (at each station) till station 21 at 03:50 on 18 Feb 2008.
