Brief description

This dataset contains the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS 03/2003. The voyage took place in Northern Queensland coastal waters during April 2003. This dataset has been processed and archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the Voyage Summary and the Data Processing Report.

Lineage

Progress Code: completed
Maintenance and Update Frequency: notPlanned
Statement: Data source: original field data Data processing and quality control: according to current CMR Data Centre CTD data processing manual.
Pressure, temperature and conductivity sensors all operated well. Logging problems created some fiddling to recreate netcdf and .cro files. No dissolved sensor data collected. Bottle salinity and oxygen data was collected. For full details, refer to documentation.
