NAV data includes GPS (Global Positioning System) measurements of latitude, longitude, ship's direction and speed. MET data includes atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, wind speed and direction, and incident radiation intensity. Data processed according to current CMAR data processing standards. Salinity data was first filtered in the range 35.0 – 35.7 psu, and rejecting jumps greater than .04 psu. This dataset contains the Underway (UWY) data collected on Southern Surveyor Transit ST 3/2008. The voyage took place in coastal waters between Gladstone and Sydney, 11 - 16 Aug 2008.
