The South Australian Seed Conservation Centre is located at Adelaide Botanic Garden, and was established to help safeguard our flora against extinction. One of the key activities at the Centre is to undertake seed collections from species at risk for entry into our conservation seed bank. The seed is also used by our seed scientists to develop germination and storage protocols.
