Brief description
This collates all information on water mains in South Australia. The information includes the pipe material, the year the pipe was laid, and the pipe diameter.SA Water's in-service pipes provide water to the consumer. Construction began in 1856 and has since expanded continuously with the increasing population and area expansion. To date, SA Water provides water to almost 700,000 customer water meters via approximately 27,000km of pipe network. This information collated on the pipe network of the South Australian Water Corporation (SA Water) has been provisioned from its Pipe Asset Register, the corporation's GIS (Geographic Information System).
