SA Water reservoirs are for primary water storage. The reservoir supply water to homes and businesses across South Australia. The reservoirs don't just fill with rain, SA Water can use as storage to River Murray water to help meet customer demand. Types of data provided include the capacity, volume and rainfall levels of reservoirs.
At full capacity, SA Water has 10 reservoirs for metropolitan water supply to nearly 700,000 customers. The reservoir can hold almost 200,000 mega liters (ML) of water . This equates to just under a year's supply for metropolitan Adelaide.
