Full description

Acoustic properties (sound speed, compressibility and density) were calculated from different tissue types of Ecklonia radiata. Samples were collected in Fortescue Bay, Tasmania and ultrasound occurred in Brussels, Belgium. Direct sound speed data was collected for both blade and stipe tissue. Indirect measurements were also made on tissue/seawater mixtures
