Brief description Osteoporosis, or porous bone, is a disease characterized by low bone mass and structural deterioration of bone tissue, leading to bone fragility and an increased susceptibility to fractures, which is a devastating disorder with significant physical, psychosocial, and financial consequences. The proposed project will investigate SNX10 and ATG5 as a novel regulators of osteoclast bone resorption and potential future therapeutic targets.
