This study investigated the role of acoustic stimulation on the growth rate of a plant growth-promoting fungi (Trichoderma harzianum). We applied 80 dB @ 8 kHz to Petri dishes with the fungal culture and showed that acoustic stimulation significantly increased sporulation.
