Helicolenus samples for electrophoresis. Zooplankton biomass and species for taxonomy. A 3.8 m thresher shark (Alopius vulpinus) was taken in one deep tow. Samples from longlining include high numbers of Brama brama and one blue shark (Prionace glauca) weighing approximately 70 kg. Photography of the scattering layer at a depth of 300 m.
