This record is an overview entry for biological data collected on Soela cruise SO 4/81. This cruise took place in waters off the New South Wales coast during 25 September - 18 October 1981, under the leadership of Brian Griffiths. Biological data collected on this cruise include phytoplankton, zooplankton, and micronekton samples from in and around an oceanic front. Vertical distribution data of phyllosoma larvae from two sites. Data from in vivo fluorescence experiments on dark adaptation of surface phytoplankton.
