Brief description Temporal lobe epilepsy is often resistant to treatment. The seizures and the associated psychiatric disorders associated with acquired epilepsy seriously affect the quality of life of patients. This study investigates a novel treatment target that could improve the symptoms of the disease to a point that no further therapy may be required.
