Brief description The type of neighbourhood- society we live in is increasingly recognised as importantly influencing our behaviour such as our physical activity or nutrition and therefore our health, but no comprehensive measure of societal profile exists. This research aims to devise and test a comprehensive community-profiling tool to measure these factors. This will enable communities to measure their local environment for factors that increase the risk of developing cardiovascular risk factors and disease.
