Full description
This dataset contains simulation-based research data generated for a Master of Research thesis on coordinated load and dispatchable generation control in a renewable-dominated residential microgrid. The dataset includes DIgSILENT PowerFactory microgrid model files, MATLAB/Python analysis files, Excel-based load, tariff, optimisation and performance datasets, thesis figures, simulation plots, and final documentation files. The data support analysis of PV, BESS, EV/V2H, CBATT, grid import/export, voltage and frequency stability, peak-load reduction, renewable energy utilisation, COE, AIEG, grid dependency, and post-fault recovery performance. The dataset does not contain human participant data, physical specimens, Indigenous content, or sensitive personal information.FoR Codes
Selected this as the main FoR code:
400805 – Electrical energy transmission, networks and systems
This is the best match because our thesis is about microgrid control, grid-connected residential networks, PV, BESS, EV/V2H, CBATT, voltage/frequency stability, and power-flow analysis. The ANZSRC 2020 FoR list places this under 4008 Electrical engineering.
Optional second FoR code, as CQU allows multiple:
400801 – Circuits and systems
Used this only as secondary. Our main topic is power networks, so 400805 is stronger.
SEO Codes
Selected these:
1703 – Energy storage, distribution and supply
1708 – Renewable energy
These matched our thesis because it studies community battery storage, distributed energy systems, PV renewable generation, EV/V2H, grid import/export, and energy management.
