Brief description
This dataset contains information gathered from automatic weather stations (model: Environdata, Warwick, Queensland) collected at 13 sites in the Simpson Desert since 1995. These weather stations record measured rainfall via a tipping bucket every minute. Data pooled for each day.
The information included in this dataset are:
- Site name
- Monthly rainfall total
- Daily rainfall
- Site of the weather station
- Date
The research data is stored with a Microsoft Access database and is approximately 50MB
This data was collected with the following Australian Research Council grant funding:
