Brief description
Seton Rockshelter on Kangaroo Island was excavated by archaeologist Ron Lampert in the 1980s. He revealed the oldest occupational layer found on Kangaroo Island. The site yielded stone tools (mostly small quartz implements), bone tools, animal bones and charcoal. Occupation was found to span from about 18,000 to 9,500 years ago. This site is one of only two rockshelters excavated on Kangaroo Island.Notes
