The Committee was established 5 December 2001 to enquire into and report upon any matters relating to the section, appointment and resignation of Mr. Jim Reeves as Managing Director of the Urban and Regional Land Corporation, together with any involvement of external agencies and consultants.

The Committee tabled two interim reports (20 March 2002 and 16 May 2002) before tabling it's final report (8 October 2002).
