Brief description SEARCH is Australia’s largest prospective cohort study of urban Aboriginal children (n = 1700), providing the first comprehensive information on the causes of health and illness in this group. This project is a partnership between Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council, a senior team of researchers, NSW Health, beyondblue, and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network to develop evidence to improve the health of urban Aboriginal children.
