Full description

This dataset contains measurements of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and methanethiol (MeSH) acquired using a Proton Transfer Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer (PTR-ToF-MS) during the RV Investigator voyage IN2024_V01 (“Multidisciplinary Investigations of the Southern Ocean (MISO): linking physics, biogeochemistry, plankton, aerosols, clouds, and climate,” from 2 January to 5 March 2024 (AEST), Hobart to Fremantle). These data provide key observations of trace gases in the Southern Ocean atmosphere, supporting studies of biogeochemical cycling, climate interactions, and ocean-atmosphere processes.
