Full description

This record describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2014_E02. The sea trial included two legs, both from Hobart to Hobart with Leg 1 between 28th of October to the 1st November and Leg 2 from the 1st November to the 6th November.

The Simrad EM710 multibeam echosounder acquired high resolution seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information.

Ping rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in Simrad *.all raw format at CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere. There are 168 files totalling 20.2 GB of raw data in this dataset.
