Full description

This record describes the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected from the Marine National Facility RV Investigator voyage IN2017_V03, titled: "Sampling the abyss: latitudinal biodiversity patterns along the base of Australia’s eastern continental margin". The voyage took place between 15 May to 16 June 2017, departing from Bell Bay (TAS) and arriving in Brisbane (QLD).

Only the RDI Ocean Surveyor 75kHz ADCP was operational during this voyage. The system was turned off during net/instrument tows to ensure it didn’t interfere with the USBL.
