The schools data set is a point type data set that is a spatial representation of the known schools or education facilities, including high schools and non-state schools within the Local Government Area of Rockhampton Region and is inclusive of both urban and rural schools.Full description
SCHOOLS - Lineage:\r\nThis schools layer was derived from open data community facilities state GIS layer from the Department of natural Resources This layer contains all schools or educations facilities in the local government area of Rockhampton Regional Council only.\r\n\r\nPositional Accuracy: \r\nThe Position accuracy of the schools is of a high level of accuracy as it has validated via high resolution aerial imagery and Google Street view. \r\n\r\nAttribute Accuracy:\r\nThe attribute accuracy of the schools is of a high level of accuracy as its attributes validated using councils rating system and external resources including the yellow pages directorate and the websites of the majority of the schools.\r\n\r\nThe attribute fields attached to the schools points are as follows.\r\n•\tNAME \r\n•\tTYPE \r\n•\tADDRESS\r\n•\tSTREET \r\n•\tSUBURB \r\nSCHOOLS ESRI -
