Full description One in two Australians will be admitted to intensive care in their life. As global leader in critical care research, I will study our discovery that angiotensin II and sodium ascorbate might save lives. I will combine experimental studies in sepsis and acute kidney injury with pilot and multicentre trials to investigate such treatments. My work will create the background to definitive global practice changing trials to improve clinical decision-making and outcomes for critically ill patients.
