Brief description

This section of the Rental Report provides a summary of the data used in the

Report



The Rental Report provides key statistics on the private rental market in

Victoria. The major source for the statistics presented in the Rental Report

is the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority which collects data on all rental

bonds lodged under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.



The Victorian Government through the Department of Human Services is committed

to improving the speedy delivery and accuracy of private rental data for use

by the community, our community sector agencies and our private sector

partners.
