Full description

Tropical-subtropical rainforest tree species Polyscias elegans were heated at 40 ºC for five days, before returning to 25 ºC for 13 days of recovery. Leaf metabolites were quantified in hours and days of heat stres. The analysis of metabolites involved extraction, derivatization, and GC/MS (Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry, 7890A GC system, 5957 inert XL EI/CI MSD, Agilent technologies, USA) analysis in the Joint Mass Spectrometry Facility of Australia National University.
