This paper-based collection (1902-1963) relating to Augustin Lodewyckx, a Germanic languages scholar, includes: Lodewyckx's Doctoral dissertation, "Grillparzers Sprache und Stil" (1902); reports and lectures on the Belgian Congo (1911-1912); correspondence. It also includes articles and books on: migration; economic conditions in Europe, Australia and New Zealand; German, Dutch, Flemish and Icelandic culture; the teaching of Germanic languages. As well as background material collected on these subjects (1920-1963). 18 archive boxes (2.1 linear shelf metres).
