Each record was assigned to one mutually exclusive evidence tier according to the most appraisal-ready evidence it supported: Tier A—direct monetary evidence (n = 20); Tier B—cost-convertible evidence (n = 58); or Tier C—operational evidence (n = 51).The evidence tiers describe evidence form and appraisal readiness rather than methodological quality, validity, or substantive importance. Information not explicitly reported in the assessed source was recorded as “not identified” rather than inferred. Reported monetary values, quantities, and unit rates remain conditional on their original event, sectoral, temporal, valuation, and accounting contexts and should not be pooled or transferred without appropriate local validation.The workbook contains processed, derived, and author-curated data. Original Scopus and Web of Science exports, copyrighted full-text publications, and article-length abstracts are not redistributed because of database licensing and copyright restrictions. This dataset contains the record-level evidence matrix developed as Table S6 for the manuscript “Flood Clean-up Costs in Disaster Appraisal: A PRISMA-ScR-Guided Bibliometric Scoping Review and Integrated Evidence Framework”.

The matrix covers 129 records published from 2006 to 2026 and retained following searches of Scopus and the Web of Science Core Collection conducted on 29 July 2026.
