Brief description Stressful work environments and sitting down at work are thought to be linked to harmful health behaviors such as lack of exercise and poor diet and also with diseases such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This fellowship will enable me to explore the ways that sedentary behavior and stressful work might affect our health. Findings from this research will be used to develop workplace-based interventions to reduce the harmful effects of work.
