Professor Jennie Brand-Miller is Professor of Human Nutrition in the School of Molecular Bioscience and the Boden Institute of Obesity, Nutrition, Exercise & Eating Disorders at the University of Sydney. Professor Brand-Miller's research interests focus on all aspects of carbohydrates including diet and diabetes, the glycemic index and insulin resistance. Professor Brand-Miller is regarded as one of the world's leading authorities on the glycemic index, and her research group is internationally recognised for its work on the nutritional aspects of food and carbohydrates.
