Brief description
Professor David Lowe is the Director of the Alfred Deakin Research Institute at Deakin University, and a leader of humanities and social science research that informs policy and practice. He is a historian of international relations and Australia in world affairs. Professor Lowe joined Deakin University from Cambridge in 1991, and from 1993 to 1995 was Monash Lecturer in Australian Politics at the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies, University of London.
