Full description Cardiometabolic conditions (including heart disease and diabetes) are a leading cause of premature death and poor health in Australia and globally. My research will focus on identifying effective preventive treatments and methods to deliver these treatments to high-risk populations in Australia and other countries in our region, particularly to groups that have not previously had their needs adequately addressed. A focus will be on novel use of affordable and effective preventive drug therapies.
