This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a 100m coastal station off Port Macquarie, New South Wales (lat. 31 deg. 26 min. S, long. 153 deg. 06 min. E) from November 1948 to October 1971. The station was set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1940s and was sampled approximately monthly (weekly at some times) for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate and nitrate. Data from 1951 onwards are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart.
