This project characterises a range of commercially available microfiltration membranes using capillary porometery. The characterisation looks primarily at the pore size distribution for a range of polymeric membranes made from different materials.Pore sizes examined range from 0.22 to 5µm and membranes are from manufacturers including; Millipore, Sartorius, Poretics, Pall and Akzo Nobel.
