Wallangarra Influenza Camp 1918-1919 - These Admission Registers - Pneumonic influenza patients, Wallangarra Quarantine Compound are held at Queensland State Archives. During the outbreak of pneumonic influenza in 1918 - 1919, strict health regulations were enforced to prevent the spread of this highly infectious disease. Border camps, such as Wallangarra Quarantine Compound, were established to keep all people entering the state in quarantine for a period of 7 days. Most of the entries give the name, occupation and the address of the patient and whether or not they are married.
